As part of a home addition renovation, one homeowner poured a new
concrete walkway. However, after the concrete set, the existing manhole cover did not sit flush with the concrete surface. Unsure how to combat the circumstances, the homeowner emailed MCD explaining the problem. We were happy to work with him to find a solution!
While the cover was located in an area with a low chance of any vehicle
traffic, the homeowner felt upgrading to a traffic rated cover for additional strength would not be a bad thing. After acquiring all the necessary measurements, MCD quickly drafted a quote and drawing for the customer to review. Once the homeowner approved the final dimensions and completed their order, we began the fabrication process!
When the new cover was delivered and installed,
the homeowner was very delighted with its discrete appearance and how well it fit to form a flush, safe surface.
