Can I Return My Custom Made Manhole Cover?
We love what we do here at Manhole Covers Direct! Part of the fun is working with our customers to find custom solutions for specialized projects and one-off designs.
Almost all manhole covers are unique in one way or another. Since covers have been made and used for hundreds of years, what is required for one may not fit another.
Since all of our products are custom-made to order, each manhole cover or frame and cover is fabricated specifically to the dimensions chosen by our customers at the point of purchase. Specifications for each order should be thoroughly reviewed before submitting an order to ensure the proper design and dimensions have been chosen.
While we are happy to correct any missed details or errors immediately after an order is placed, once the fabrication of an order has begun, we do not offer changes, returns, exchanges, or refunds.
What Happens if My Order Is Defective?
All Manhole Covers Direct products are thoroughly tested before shipment and guaranteed to the extent of replacing only components found to be defective in manufacturing. We do not allow claims for labor or consequential damage resulting from the purchase, installation, misapplication, or transit of our product. Any components found to be defective in manufacturing must be reported within 3 days of receipt of shipment.
What if My Shipment Arrives Damaged?
Any damaged shipments should be refused upon delivery. If damaged goods are accepted by the receiver, the receiver is responsible for any freight claims. Please inspect the delivery before you sign for it.
What if I Ordered the Wrong Size by Mistake?
We cannot be responsible if you are unhappy with the material, size, or finish of the product you purchased. Each product is custom-made to order and fabricated specifically to the dimensions and specs chosen at the point of purchase.
Although the original item may not be returned, we understand that mistakes happen. We will work with you to re-order the correct size in the most cost-effective and quickest way possible. Please see our official complete return policy if you have additional questions.
