When one nature-loving homeowner decided it was time to replace the corroded manhole cover in their residential driveway, they envisioned something more meaningful than a generic steel plate. Their goal? A custom laser art manhole cover featuring an oak tree and acorns—symbols of strength, endurance, and the great outdoors.

The homeowner provided a design idea along with an artwork sketch of some acorns they wanted incorporated into the design of their laser art manhole cover. Our engineering team was able to include the unique hand-drawn design into the final layout for laser cutting and fabrication.

The decorative art design manhole cover was built for residential driveway use and vehicle traffic. After a short lead time, the finished steel manhole cover—complete with a weather-resistant finish and intricate oak tree design—was delivered to the homeowner’s property./span>
