With his puppy in mind,
we received a quote request from a homeowner though our website. The customer was looking for a rectangular drain cover that was rated for foot traffic and cars up to 5 mph. He was interested in replacing his current cover, which was made of failing concrete with a durable drain grate that could be lifted quickly for periodic access. Since he was concerned about his puppy, the cover would need to be flush with the concrete with small drain slots to ensure it would be safe for his puppy’s paws. When MCD received the quote, we were happy to help!
We took on the project,
reaching out to the homeowner to iron out some of the details of the manhole cover. We asked for a measurement of the depth of the cover to ensure the new cover would sit flush in the frame to avoid any potential tripping hazards. He chose a gray powder coated finish to match the concrete of his driveway.
Once the homeowner approved the final
dimensions to the project, we began the process of fabrication. When the cover was delivered and installed, the homeowner was very delighted with the fit of the cover and color. With this new addition, his playful puppy could now frolic the property, unburdened and full of joy!
